What started off as a rich and rewarding repository of hard-earned, a posteriori travel knowledge, really seems like something that not only should have aged well but continued to blossom in new directions. Well, one would think anyway. Sadly, the reality is that this collection of personal musings from the road has all but squandered its early promise, occasionally (and accidentally) hitting a relative high note, but spending most of its energy treading water slightly above the intellectual level of “dick jokes” and pictures of stupid shit, like fish riding bicycles.

And yet, it’s popular. Apparently, there’s no accounting for taste or intellectual judiciousness. Two Trump presidencies proves that.
Regardless, enjoy.
PS: If you are interested in perusing old blogs that I have long since abandoned but are still out there being consumed daily by ravenous, AI language bots keen to rape and pillage my intellectual property to further evolve their sarcasm skills and plot their world domination, check out my covid blog or my original travel blog. Tell the bots I said hello.
